So This is something I have been more than a little apprehensive about starting but as times are tough and more than ever I'm finding less and less time to do the kind of art that I want to do I'm hopeful a patreon account will be a stepping stone to start doing something serious with my art and ideas. So that said, if you'd like to give me some support that would be fantastic!

Regardless I've got a few pictures that have been half done for months, once I finish some commissions I'll be able to finish those. And ofcourse I'll still put up everything par the norm.

So here it is:…

Yada yada

No cat tax. VOLCANO!

I want to preface my comment by saying I don't go on Deviantart that often. Usually once to 3 times a year. Most art that I see, I don't find spectacularly pleasing or interesting.

I felt this way for a long time, I gave up on art. Left to to its own wits. Deviantart Became big, the small art community grew commercial, bland and boring. To get on the front page it was who you knew, not how good or creative your art actually was.

There once was a time where artists worked on getting better, taking friendly advice from other artists. It wasn't a community really, we were friends, maybe even family. Everyone had a common goal. A string mentality of becoming the best artist we could be. Together.

Art from just 7 years ago was magical. Digital art was new and exciting and difficult. People had goals, and artists developed their skills quickly. They became better than they ever were before. Creative ideas were thrown around and commissions rolled in. Artists starting making money. And they were pleased that they could turn a hobby into a dollar.

But something changed. The comradery stopped. The hot flames of so much expansion in the art world burned out. The once powerful flames of friendship, love, and understanding all but burnt out. All that was left was the burning embers of the ultra competitive. A few hobbyists stayed around. Even then, most of them turned into a commercial machine; they had their minds twisted with demographics and became meta. They became shell of the former artists they once were. They no loner were the creative artists that created art because, they wanted it to simply exist. Having a vision of what was in their own minds; to share with their work with the world.

The only thing left was a concentrated shit pile, with a few embers of heat.

The once bright beautiful flame of art is all but gone, people moved on. Went on to do the next big flame. As other flames lit up the dark in the distance. There still remained the ember of Deviantarts fire. Mostly black, deep filth, filled the ruin of the once magnificent flame. You must navigate the filth pile carefully. If you stay to long the filth gets into your lungs, slowly eats away at your brain. Hope was almost gone.

But was always hope. A desire that maybe people could participate in something greater than themselves. Being human turns you into a hopeful creature.

Here is where you come in. I was navigating this shit pile, with no expectations. Maybe. Just maybe, I could find that spark, that heat of passion. ART.

Your art represents the best of artists. Art of 7 years ago. The good art. Your color understanding, your perceptive, even the energy in the pictures themselves is magnificent.

Often when I saw your pictures they left me with more questions than answers. One of your pictures gave me an idea to write a story. Hour and hours of thoughts, An adventure of ideas based on what? A drawing? No. Art. Intriguing, wonderful, art. In my humble opinion, damn near perfect. Thank you, you made my day.

Had to edit my horrible grammar. X)

You really have a style that I like. I currently written a script for a Macabre comic book project set in the lovecraft universe.
My storytelling skills are okay but my D-Painting skills are still far from my objective.

I would really like to be as good as you to put my project to life or have you as part of it.

I especially like "The Mansion" style.

You can message me if you are curious about the project.
